Scottish Terrier
The Scottish Terrier is known as the President’s pet in the United States, but the dog’s origins are in Scotland. They were first called the Aberdeen Terrier because it was developed in the Scottish city of Aberdeen in the 18th century. They were originally used to hunt parasites, foxes, and beavers to protect crops on the farm. Scottish Terrier is a small dog with heavy bones, a solid body, a face with a long and small beard but with muscular and strong legs. Almond-shaped eyes with small ears, sharp and erect and a black nose makes it look sweet.
Scottish Terrier feather colors differ from black, brown or gold. This dog has a strong, independent, agile, fast and territorial personality. If it is not treated strictly, but firmly, it will try to dominate the household. They are not easy to train at all because of their independent personalities, but they are patient and train them for discipline and obedience. Scottish Terrier deals with older children because he hates being teased. The kennel must be socialized to avoid aggression against other dogs.
