5-Separate from other dogs if necessary

6-Always have your dog’s medical records ready
As previously mentioned, veterinarians can have different opinions based on the same facts or symptoms. However, dogs can be brought to any clinic, the same facts must be provided. This record is necessary to ensure that external factors do not cause a change in opinion.
From a practical point of view, it is easier to make a diagnosis if there are some facts to work with. This can also save the owner money as some of the necessary tests may already be available in the current records.
7-Get a second opinion from another veterinarian
If the owner and the veterinarian are stuck due to differences of opinion, it is permissible to ask the opinion of another veterinarian. The second opinion may have a different diagnosis, less frequent, and different treatment.
As an owner, one must have the power to choose what procedures, treatments, and drugs to give his dog. Such an assessment is given to the owner, especially if the first opinion suggests that the dog is abandoned. Just choose the option that best suits your pet’s condition.
