Give other pets their space

Most pet parents dream of making their pets love each other, just like each of us loves each other. That said, it usually takes some time to establish these relationships, so it’s best to start slowly. Semel said to the Dodo: “Old dogs will definitely be annoyed by puppies.” Therefore, it is important that they have the opportunity to meet other dogs in a neutral place before bringing new puppies home.(This is true whether you are raising a puppy or an adult dog, because it may take some time for an adult dog to warm up with a new roommate.) Ideally, this should be in a park or backyard, but in that case, This is not an option, even the hallway or hall of your apartment is better than skipping it altogether. After bringing the new pup home, please use doors and fences to ensure that both dogs have separate resting spaces for emergencies. Ballantyne recommends that you put a new puppy when your cat is completely invisible. This will give them a chance to adjust to their smell and voice before the meeting. Once you are ready to interact, make sure that your cat is safe enough to enter high places, such as a cat tree, so that they can easily “escape” when they are tired of play time.
