Train your puppy in winter

During winter, it is recommended that you train your dog indoors. First you need to prepare your dog for potty training. You can use artificial grass to make it more realistic or a pot holder to make cleaning easier.

You may or may not use a box, whichever you prefer. Using a potting box allows you to schedule urination. If you don’t have a crate, you can place the pot with the pot where your dog knows. You can use a replica to tell your furry pet it is a place to pee.

You can also use a roller spray to let your dog know he needs to pee here. When the puppy smells the spray, he will see that this is a place to urinate and poop. Be sure to praise and reward your dog for urinating and feces in the right place.

If you accidentally see him pee near the draft pot, don’t yell at him. It was just an accident! You’ve tried it, but your bladder can’t seem to hold it, so give your pup free access to the toilet. If this is not possible, then you need to arrange a discharge release schedule.

Indoor pot training prevents your dog from getting cold outside. So start practicing for indoor pot training. A furry potted pet means you have a clean home.

The collar and leash will train your puppy in winter

Even though your puppy will stay indoors during the winter, you will still need a collar and leash to train your dog. Leash and collar training should be done during the puppy phase, as puppies are trainable compared to adult dogs.

First, wear a collar or belt to help your furry pet get used to it. Once your puppy has gotten used to the collar or harness, start leash training. Begin leading home training. If your puppy is doing well, offer him compliments and treats as dog treats. This will prepare them for a walk outdoors once the weather improves.
