What vegetables can dogs eat?

Which vegetables are good for dogs and which are not?

Green leaf

A good rule of thumb for finding green vegetables that your dog can eat is to stick to what you are going to eat. Lettuce, spinach, cheese, cabbage, and water spinach are good for dogs. Green vegetables are not only rich in vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, iron, and potassium, but also a good source of fiber. Like humans, dogs get the most nutrition when cooking vegetables. If you want, of course, you can steam your dog’s vegetables for something else or roast them for a fresher dish. The high amount of fiber in green leafy vegetables can cause stomach pain after it was originally added to their food. Slowly introduce each new food to protect your dog’s stomach.
